Sommaire: I had a camera like this before and it burned out on me. And they discontinued it... and as soon as they discontinued it, the price jumped up sky high! I was thankful to find this product at a reasonable price. The Sellers are WONDERFUL AND DELIVERED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! They went above and beyond my satisfaction! And i am thankful!
Sommaire: Overall, the video and picture quality is good. You can really see issues when you zoom in as the zoom is digital, so you are loosing pixels as you increase the zoom. It is also irritating that I had to go online to download the user manual, and the link given in the "directions" included in the box was incorrect. The cover over the memory card slot is about as poorly designed as it can be, and I doubt it will be long before it breaks.
Sommaire: This is the 1st camera I have ever brought and I am very happy. It is a small size and light. The camera is very easy to use and quick to switch between film and pictures. I have filmed a few things and I was very happy with quality in both hd mode and normal mode.
Sommaire: I've owned this camera for 2 weeks & already I'm very impressed with the quality. I recently took the camera to a music concert & the results were fantastic, with very clear video & the audio is surprisingly decent too. The pistol grip design is very easy to use, & the flip out screen also swivels nicely. The menus are easy to understand, buttons are nicely positioned & the unit feels nice in the hand.
Sommaire: This is a great little camera. Use it all the time. Takes excellent HD videos and high def photos. Very easy to carry around. Fits nicely in my pocket. Viewfinder is good size. Menu is extensive but point and shoot is very easy. Good combination. HIghly recommended.
Sommaire: Not the best at night or in dim lighting, but excellent in well lit areas. Motion shots are beautiful. Great range of features include action shots and HD 1080 ranges. At the price I could not say no. I would replace this only for action mounted cameras like Go Pro since its's too awkward to use like an action cam, but is wonderful on a tripod taking time lapse.
Only difference from using your iPhone is the optical zoom

Sommaire: Good for video, reasonable for daylight photos, lousy for night photos. Saves you the trouble of using two separate cameras, but a good smartphone also does that, so the only difference is that the Sanyo has an optical zoom. Actually, iPhone or Galaxy even take better photos at night.
Sommaire: I bought this to replace my previous xacti, which was brilliant and did everything I needed it to, except the lcd screen, and microphone, broke after a couple of years of not particularly heavy use. I've had this one a year, and the video function decided to suddenly stop working whilst trying to record my daughter taking part in a wedding, which I was quite upset about.
